Foster Care Unplugged, The Talk Show

With the many different lived experiences youth undergo within the child welfare system, Foster Care Unplugged, The Talk Show aims to use its platform to shed awareness on how it has directly impacted them. The talk show also uses stories of leadership to have courageous, transparent conversations on how the child welfare system has progressed, and on areas in need of improvement. The Talk Show is not for nor against the child welfare system, but it creates a safe space for all stakeholders to understand where to move the needle forward through unity. It is the first ever seen media platform of its kind in New York. Season One encompasses episodes five-eight below hosted by Founder of Foster Care Unplugged, Melody J. Centeno.
